While being at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she worked solely with the research community by supporting over 250 computers and users on Linux, Windows, and Apple operating systems on her own.  Melanie resolved all their issues and initated projects with complicated configurations and provided stellar support for the top echelon at this world renown organization. Wanting to be at home with her family, she made the bittersweet departure from St Jude in 2008.
